 PROBLEM: Five doesn't go into 17 evenly. What to do?
 SOLUTION: Think of the largest number of times 5 goes into 17. That would be 3.
 DIVIDE 17 by 5 which is 3.
 MULTIPLY 5 times 3 and put the 15 under the 17.
 SUBTRACT 1715 and there is 2 left over. The left over number is called the remainder.
 ANSWER is 3 Remainder 2 or R.2 for short.
17 / 5 = 3 Remainder 2
Divide 17 by 5

 DIVIDE 52 by 8 which is about 6.
 MULTIPLY 8 times 6 which is 48.
 SUBTRACT 52 minus 48 which is 4.
